Leidos

Developed applications using Java and Spring that support operational scheduling and resource management.

Initiated and documented a process to migrate applications from an application server to stand-alone applications distributed as Docker images using Spring Boot and supporting libraries. After successful release of the initial service, worked with a cross-functional team to refine the process and reduce lead time.

As a SCRUM Master, guided effort to move scheduling application to a different UI framework without disrupting use of the existing application.

Designed and implemented an application to process multiple streams of data and provide aggregation at a high level enabling other applications to display real-time updates.

TRMI Systems Integration

Wrote vehicle classification and violation enforcement software. The software interfaced with hardware devices to accurately classify vehicles, associate, payment and capture images. This required understanding the operational behavior of equipment such as RFID Readers and inductive loop sensors. Created an R analytic tool to identify when image capture was in a degraded state based on quality measures.

United States Marine Corps Reserve

Repaired electronic systems on Sea Stallion and Sea Knight helicopters in bases within the United States and overseas. In 2004 I was selected to be deployed to Al Asad, Iraq to create the first deployed shop capable of providing component level repair which significantly reduced the downtime of aircraft.
